Hubbard County, Minnesota

Hubbard County, Minnesota, established in 1883, is located in the north-cental part of Minnesota.

Hubbard County is bordered:

  • on the north by Beltrami County,
  • on the west by Becker County and Clearwater County,
  • on the south by Cass County and Wadena County, and
  • on the east by Cass County.

Minnesota Highways 200 and 34, and U.S. Highway 71, are the primary east-west transportation routes.

U.S. Highways 64 and 71, are the primary north-south transportation routes.

Hubbard County was named after Lucius Frederick Hubbard – a Civil War veteran who was the ninth Governor of the State of Minnesota, serving from 1882 – 1887.
